For Property Demolition for Mandeville Bypass Roadway - The work specified in this project will require the Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to demolish a residential site located at 23298 Oscar St.
Mandeville, La 70448 and any accessory structures on that site purchased by the Parish; as well as relocate 2 sheds to the Tyler Street Complex located at 620 North Tyler Street in Covington La. The Contractor must also remove the demolition debris, in addition to clearing and leveling the site.
The work shall consist of principal and accessory structural demolition and relocation of 2 sheds It is the Vendors responsibility to check the Parish website frequently for any possible addenda that may be issued. The Parish is not responsible for a Vendors failure to download any addenda documents required to complete a submission. Each Quote must be sealed. In addition, the outside of the envelope, box or package containing the Quote should be marked with the following information. Name and Address, State Contractors License Number (if the estimated cost of the work is $50k or more), Quote Number, and the Quote Name. Quotes submitted without this information may be deemed non-responsive. Respondents submitting quotes over twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) may be required to provide a guarantee in the form of a bond or a certified or cashiers check or money order made payable to the Parish of St. Tammany, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the quote amount. If a bond is used, it shall be written by a surety or insurance company currently on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service list of approved bonding companies which is published annually in the Federal Register, or by a Louisiana domiciled insurance company with at least an A- rating in the latest printing of the A.M. Best's Key Rating Guide to write individual bonds up to ten percent of policyholders' surplus as shown in the A.M. Best's Key Rating Guide or by an insurance company in good standing licensed to write bid bonds which is either domiciled in Louisiana or owned by Louisiana residents. It is not required to be on any AIA form. For projects costing twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or more, the successful Respondent shall be required to provide a performance (surety) bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project cost to insure the successful performance under the terms and conditions of the contract negotiated between the successful Respondent and the Parish. The contract shall not be in force or binding upon the Parish until such satisfactory bond has been provided to and approved by the Parish. The cost of the bond shall be paid by the Contractor.
