Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Pylesville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The standard Form of "Bid Bond", Document No. A-310 issued by the American Institute of Architects may be used at the Bidder's option in lieu of cashier's check or a certified check. Under any option the amount of the bond, or check, remains the same, 5% of the Base Bid Sum without regard to any alternates. The original document should be mailed to 102 S. Hickory Avenue, Attn: Jennifer Horner - Procurement Department, Bel Air, MD 21014. A copy of the Bid Bond or cashier's check shall be submitted with your electronic bid submittal, or your bid will be deemed non-responsive. Performance Bond may be required for contracts and/or awards of contracts in excess of $100,000.00 for the amount of 100% of the contract price to cover faithful performance of the Contract. Simultaneously with their delivery of the executed contract, the Award Bidder must deliver to HCPS an executed bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid as security for the faithful performance of their contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith, prepared on the Standard Bond Form A-311 as approved and issued by the American Institute of Architects and having as surety thereon such surety company or companies as are acceptable on bonds given to the United States Government and approved by the Harford County Public Schools and are authorized to transact business in this State. Performance Bonds shall be made out in the name of the "Board of Education of Harford County". Payment Bonds may be required for contracts and/or awards of construction contracts in excess of $100,000.00 for the amount of 100% of the contract price as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection therewith when required by HCPS. Payment Bonds shall be made out in the name of the "Board of Education of Harford County". Jennifer Horner, CPPB, Purchasing Agent, will administer the solicitation process. The Procurement Administrator will be the sole point of contact for purposes of this bid. All questions must be e-mailed and received no later than 2:30 pm local time March 30, 2022. Questions will not be accepted by phone. Project shall start on or around June 20, 2022 and must be completed by August 19, 2022 Harford County Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of HCPS.
