The Corporation of the Town of Georgina (Town) is seeking bid submissions from qualified vendors (respondent) to conduct Ash Tree removal and stumping in accordance with the specifications and the terms and conditions of this bid call document (work). Removals and stumping must be coordinated with the Town Representative at all times. The Town is responsible to promote and maintain the urban forest in a safe and healthy condition and to work towards meeting the needs of internal and external customers. In general, this program will include, but is not limited to; the removal of dead and diseased Ash trees on all Town lands for public safety, road safety, and risk mitigation. Work may be required in close proximity of overhead energized electrical conductors. Bid submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by an evaluation committee and they will recommend one (1) successful respondent (contractor) or multiple contractors, which may be presented for approval by Council.
