The Virginia Department of Transportation herein referred to as "VDOT" is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver prestressed concrete piles as specified herein. Delivery of piles shall be included in unit prices. Note: Inclusion of bidder's terms and conditions or the inability to meet the required delivery may result in bid being determined non responsive. Service Area: Cities: Chesapeake, Franklin, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Williamsburg. Counties: Isle of Wight, James City, Southampton, Surry, Sussex, and York. The Contractor shall furnish the following Prestressed Concrete Piles: Twelve (12) Fourteen Inch (14") Square Prestressed Concrete Piles 12 Piles at 60' -0" each = 720 Linear Feet Two (2) Fourteen Inch (14") Square Prestressed Concrete Driving Test Pile 2 Piles at 70'-0" each = 140 Linear Feet Four (4) Eighteen Inch (18") Square Prestressed Concrete Piles 4 Piles at 80'-0" each = 320 Linear Feet One (I) Eighteen Inch (18") Square Prestressed Concrete Driving Test Pile 1 Pile at 80'-0" each = 80 Linear Feet The invoice shall be submitted upon delivery of goods to the address and section listed below. The invoice shall include the contract number and/or purchase order number, description of item, quantity, unit price, and extended costs based on the contract pricing schedule. Payment will not be made until delivery of goods and final acceptance by VDOT.
