Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Newberg, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Newberg (the City) is soliciting bids for the installation of ADA ramps on both sides N Meridian Steet from E Hancock to E Fulton Street. This project will install fully compliant ADA ramps on both sides of N Meridian Street from E Hancock north to E Fulton Street. The ramps will be installed at each intersection and driveway. If there is additional funds available, gaps in the sidewalk will also be constructed. Contractor shall provide warranty assurance in the form of a warranty bond in an amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the sum of the original Contract Price amount plus all Change Orders that were issued against the Contract. The term of the warranty bond shall be two (2) years starting at the date of Final Completion of the Project. The contract awarded under this invitation to bid is subject to the payment of prevailing wages under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 and the Davis-Bacon Act (40 USC 3141 to 3148), if applicable. Prequalification of bidders is required. Bidders must be prequalified to perform work in the following classes: concrete ADA ramps and sidewalks. Each bidder is required to submit a completed Contractor's Prequalification Application Form that can be found Electronically The anticipated cost to construct the Project is $400,000. Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work no later than August 15, 2022, with Final Completion no later than September 30, 2022
