It is the express intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to acquire a fully qualified Contractor, licensed to work in Virginia, to provide installation of a new pressure reducing valve vault, in accordance with, Town of Front Royal standards, enclosed specifications, and conditions herein for the Town of Front Royal. This work will be performed on Robinhood Lane in the Town of Front Royal, Virginia 22630. All Work will be as directed by the Town of Front Royal Public Works Department. The Contractor will be responsible for setting the new pressure reducing vault at the job site, which is located on Robinhood Lane off of John Marshall Road. The vault weighs approximately 27,000 pounds. The Town of Front Royal will supply the PRV Vault and will coordinate delivery of vault with Contractor's work schedule. The Contractor will remove the existing vault and bypass line. Once the existing in-service 6" tees are removed, and the new vault has been set, the Contractor will tie back into the existing 6" water lines on both sided with mechanical joint solid sleeves. The selected Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, services, equipment, tools, materials and transportation necessary to complete the work described herein.
