This project consists of slide repair that has a caused a portion of the road to slump and has sheared an existing culvert in half. The road failures are located at approximately Latitude 45.702642, Longitude -123.875476 along Old Wheeler Mohler Road. Construction of the slide repair includes excavating the portions of road that have failed, constructing mechanically stabilized earth using geogrid and imported structural backfill, and replacing the gravel roadway within the project limits. This project will also include installation of a culvert pipe and riprap outfall pads and a subsurface drainage system consisting of rock and perforated pipe. This is a project from the 2015 Federally Declared Storm authorized and partially funded by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The engineer's estimate is between Zero Dollars ($0) and Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($330,000). Bidders will not be required to be pre-qualified under ORS 279B.120. This contract is for a project that is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (Prevailing Wage Law).
