The Project consists of three phases of work of approximately 4,150 square yards of asphalt mill and overlay, 1,700 feet of curb and gutter, driveway aprons, and trench drain, testing, grading, seeding, and cleanup along with all appurtenant work complete and ready for service, including temporary facilities, traffic control, and erosion control as required and in conformance with the Contract Documents. The City of Buckner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the two lowest bids for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The Work is to be commenced within thirty calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. Substantial Time of Completion including testing and post inspection and ready for use by Owner is to be 90 Calendar Days from the date of Notice to Proceed, and the Final Completion date is to be 120 Calendar Days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Prevailing Wages. Minimum wage rates for this contract shall be prevailing wage rates as determined by the Industrial Commission of Missouri. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Owner further reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any or all bids and reserves the right to determine which is the most responsive, responsible Bidder and to reject or approve the bonds.
