erms of Reference. Drainage Study Farr, Webber and River Road Area The Town of Pelham is seeking consulting engineering services to undertake a Drainage Study for the Farr, Webber and River Road area of the Town. Residential and farm property in the area has been experiencing drainage issues, i.e. flooding, from unplanned rural residential development and wet weather. There is no stormwater management plan associated with the rural residential uses and the area is not serviced by a municipal drain. Drainage in the area is associated with overland flows being directed towards a series of natural and constructed drainage channels that outlet to the Welland River. Some of the natural watercourses are regulated by the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority. The area is characterized by a mix of rural and agricultural land uses. The Town does not have any geotechnical or soil reports of the area. The purpose of the Drainage Study is to confirm the drainage patterns and flows of the area, identify areas experiencing drainage issues and identify potential options to resolve the drainage issues. It is expected that the Town would receive the final Drainage Study by July 31, 2022. AHYDTECH Geomorphic completed the study.
