Contractors must hold an active license issued by the State of Louisiana Licensing Board for Contractors in the classification of HEAVY CONSTRUCTION. Contractors must provide their license number when requesting plans, specifications and contract documents and place their license number on the face of the envelope containing their bid. No Bidders may withdraw his/her bid within Forty-Five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to execute the Owner's Standard Form of Agreement/Contract for construction together with the Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) working days after normal award of contract.
