Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

The Town of Stoughton is requesting services for General Contract #22-411 Capen Reynolds Dog Park and Community Gardens for the construction of site improvements at the Capen Reynolds farm located at 760 Pleasant Street in the Town of Stoughton, MA. The scope of work includes the construction of parking areas, sidewalks, community gardens gazebo, staircase, dog park, rain gardens, grassed swale, lighting, landscaping, water and electrical services and associated grading. The location of work shall be as shown on the Contract Drawings attached as Appendix "A". The required contract completion period is 180 consecutive days from date of Notice to Proceed. Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer's or cashier's check payable to the Owner, is required in the amount of five percent of the bid, in accordance with Section 00 11 16, INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as stipulated in Section 00700 GENERAL CONDITIONS of these specifications. All bids for this project are subject to applicable bidding laws of Massachusetts, including General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Division of Occupational Safety of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Bidder, before bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. By submission of a bid, the Bidder agrees that their bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for the Special Town Meeting. The date of the Special Town meeting is determined by a vote of the Select Board. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject any or all bids.
