Renovation of a mixed-use development in Orange, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and fitness / recreation center.

The scope of work for this project shall include, but not be limited to, all labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals, and related work necessary to perform painting of the gym walls. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Tarps must be used to protect the gym floor. Stage and window curtains, ceilings, the stage, and other surfaces in the gym that are not to be painted shall be protected. Clean and lightly sand all gym walls, trim, and painted doors, including removing tape residue. Fill in cracks and holes and caulk as needed. Prime all red and/or smooth (lower) concrete block walls with primer appropriate for the smooth (lower) concrete block walls (Benjamin Moore STIX bonding primer or approved equal). Paint all walls, trim, and painted doors with 2 coats of interior paint appropriate for painted masonry block, metal, and wood (PPG Pitt-Tech DTM or approved equal). Paint colors to be selected by the town. Two paint colors are planned, one on the smooth (lower) concrete walls and another on the upper walls. Clean work area and remove all debris, materials, tools, and equipment from site. All questions shall be submitted by email to the Director of Public Works at bbrinton@orange-ct.gov.
