Request for Qualifications On-Call Planning Consultant Services for the Lafayette Airport Commission at the Lafayette Regional Airport The Lafayette Airport Commission (LAC) is seeking a qualified firm to provide Professional On-Call Planning Consultant Services for the Lafayette Regional Airport. Respondents to its On-Call Planning Consultant Services Request for Qualifications (RFQ) should have considerable demonstrated airport experience in developing and managing financing, planning, and design as outlined in the RFQ. A professional services agreement will be awarded to the selected firm for a three (3) year term, with two (2) possible one (1) year extensions. It is the policy of LAC, as defined in 49 CFR Part 26, to create a level playing field on which DBEs can compete fairly for opportunities. Respondents to this RFQ must meet all of the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 and the certification requirements of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD). The DBE program requirements set forth in the Federal Disadvantage Business Enterprise DBE Program for the LAC shall apply to this solicitation. In compliance with the LACs DBE Policy and the federal regulations under 49 CFR Part 26, to be eligible for award of a contract, the respondent MUST either: 1. Meet the DBE goal as advertised with meaningful DBE participation through subcontracts, joint ventures, or suppliers; OR 2. Demonstrate Good Faith Efforts to meet the DBE goal.
