The Project or Work consists of furnishing and installing pipelines, utilities, associated appurtenances and all associated work to accomplish this project installation including the following: approximately 1,100 linear of 14-inch HDPE force main installed one horizontal directional drill (HDD), approximately 1,390 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron or 14-inch HDPE force main installation and abandonment / removal of approximately 2,440 linear feet of 12-inch force main and appurtenances. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid. This project is being funded in part under the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF). Bidders shall comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 (Prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex or national origin), No. 12138 and No. 11625 (Regarding MBE/WBE utilization). Bidders shall also comply with the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Bidders must certify that they do not and will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on basis of race, color, creed or national origin.
