Renovation of an educational facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project is generally described as the removal and replacement of modified bitumen roof assemblies at Alamo Heights Junior School for Alamo Hts. Independent School District. Work shall commence no later than June 6, 2022 and shall be complete through Substantial Completion no later than October 1, 2022. Proposal security in the form of a certified check or Proposal bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Proposal plus any additive alternates is attached hereto, as a guaranty that the Offeror will unconditionally execute a satisfactory contract and furnish insurance specified in the Contract Documents. Proposal Security (5%) For projects above twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) the Offeror shall be capable of furnishing payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum. The surety company providing the bonds must be approved for the amount of the bonds by applicable laws of the State of Texas and Alamo Heights ISD and licensed to do business in the State of Texas. Compliance with this requirement may be in the form of a notarized letter from the proposed bonding company confirming Offeror's ability to obtain the specified bonds or actual bonds until time of actual contract execution.
