Seeking qualified firm to provide a full assessment of County-owned buildings (structural, electrical, etc), followed by a space utilization study of those buildings Appomattox County is accepting bids from qualified A&E firms interested in conducting a comprehensive assessment of County-owned buildings, including a space utilization study of each. The contractor shall meet all requirements contained herein and shall be responsible for undertaking and completing the included Scope of Work All questions shall be in writing via email and shall be directed to John Spencer, Purchasing Agent, at john.spencer@appomattoxcountyva.gov. Deadline for questions is Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 5:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2022 Addendum to Address Questions This contract shall run for one (1) calendar year beginning at contract signing. The building assessment and space utilization study shall be completed within six (6) months of contract signing, with all reports, data and other pertinent information submitted to the County by that date. For the remainder of the contract year, the successful firm shall attend meetings, make presentations, and assist the County as needed with decisions regarding County buildings and space utilization. The County may at any time cancel this solicitation without cause. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
