As of April 19, 2023, construction has been completed, however, an exact timeline of construction has not been confirmed. The work to be performed includes strengthening of the Rainier Blvd Bridge over East Fork Issaquah Creek to increase the shear capacity of the girders. Strengthening will be achieved by installing Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Strips applied to the webs of the girder units as defined in the plans and specifications. Proposals shall be on forms included in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety), made payable to the City of Issaquah, in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty-five (65) days.
