The County of Rockland Facilities Management Division provides these specifications as guidance for prospective manufacturers and contractors to provide a successful bid proposal to supply a Pre-Engineered Fire Operations Building for use by Fire, Emergency Medical, Rescue, and Law Enforcement responders for fire and other emergency response training including but not limited the following Live Fire Attack Training Rappelling and Rope Rescue Training Search and Rescue Training Forcible Entry and Ventilation Training Wall Breach Training Erection of and Site Work for the pre-engineered steel Fire Operations Building (Structure) will be the subject of a separate Request for Bid. Erector Qualifications: Although the selection of a qualified erector will be requested in a separate proposal the manufacturer of the Fire Operations Building (Structure) is requested to submit a list of pre-qualified Erectors that meet the requirements of the structure manufacture for New York State.
