Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chillicothe, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of April 20, 2022, project was awarded to Shelly & Sands Inc., awarded amount is $4,065,142.18.** Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The owner intends to award the Contract in Two Phases. Phase One will be for those roads locally and American Rescue Plan funded with the award being on or before April 18, 2022. Work on Veterans Parkway may begin May 31, 2022 and must be complete by July 30, 2022. Phase Two will be for those roads financed with Issue One funding. Subject to approval of the funding it is anticipated to award a contract by July 18, 2022. Work on Core Road, awarded in Phase Two, may not begin until October 1, 2022. The completion date for both Phases will be no later than October 31, 2022. Prevailing wage rates to be paid under this contract shall be those ascertained by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour. The 2016 Construction and Material Specifications of the State of Ohio Department of Transportation shall apply to this project. All bidders must conform to Section 153.59 of the Revised Code concerning discrimination. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities.
