Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Working plans call for the addition of a 128,000-square-foot, five-story above grade educational facility; for the renovation of a 200,000-square-foot, five-story above grade, one-story below grade, 1,908-seat educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and educational facility.
Phased expansion, upgrades, improvement and redevelopment of the former Saint-Joseph Pavilion acquired from Holy Cross Sisters congregation to create a high school. The scope of the project includes the demolition of the wings B, E as well as the rotunda and its footbridge to accommodate the planned expansion. Les wings C and D will be completely renovated and redeveloped: work will include demolition of interior walls and electromechanical systems and decontamination. The project also provides for an expansion in the basement and on the ground floor for the common spaces (sports hub, food hub and collective spaces), the aisles A and D will be widened on four floors (levels 2 to 5) to accommodate created educational spaces. TIMELINE: Owner expects to phase the project implementation. Working drawings of the first construction phase are underway. Tender for this phase contractor is anticipated in late spring/early summer 2023. Subsequent design and tendering phases will follow. Note. Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 67.
