Project is a redesign of the exterior south area of the main campus. It will be a transformation of the space into a four season plaza, that will incorporate a misting feature. The deck on the south side of the main building will be redone to allow more usable space, while creating seated spacing integrated with steps. The rink/pond area will be filled and finished with precast concrete to be installed in a specific pattern. The plaza will be bordered with a steel bench covered in wood, that will match the wood of the deck. The bench will ocellate in height from bench to flush with the ground to allow access into the plaza. There will be new site lighting, as well as improvements to the electrical supply for the area. The existing storms sewer system will be modified and additional drainage solutions will be implemented. Under the existing deck south of the World Café concrete will be poured to bring the area to the same grade as the surrounding. A new wood sliding screen will be installed to close off the area under the deck, when required. The Boulevard Tent will be receiving glazing on the north elevation, structural modification to roofline, relevant remediation, and new lighting inside. The backstage access to the Concert Stage will receive new railing to match the new railing on the deck. The areas intertwined between these spaces will receive a mixture of new interlock and circular grass and treed areas. The projects listed under Appendix B shall show strong relevance to the proposed Scope of Work in complexity and type of Work. III. The projects listed under Appendix B shall demonstrate schedule deconfliction caused by weather or logistical constraints. TENDER AWARD: -Tender is set to be awarded on November 11, 2022. CONSTRUCTION MILESTONES: -Mobilization - Site will be available as early as November 14, 2022; -Deck completion and turnover to Owner - April 28, 2023; -Substantial completion of project - August 28, 2023. *Project has been estimated at approx. 4 million.
