Long Valley Charter School Inc. Board of Directors (LVCS) is seeking a qualified Design-Build Entity (DBE) to construct its new Gymnasium and site improvements located on Susan Drive in Doyle CA. NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN LVCS is soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a DBE under a Best Value, Guaranteed Maximum Not to Exceed Design-Build procurement method pursuant to California Education Code 17250.10 - 17250.55. This RFP is a single-phase competitive process for LVCSs selection of a DBE to complete design and construction of the Project in two parts: Preconstruction Phase Services and Design/Construct. The project under this RFP constructs a 6,100 +/- pre-engineered metal gym/multipurpose building with storage, restrooms, and associated infrastructure. 2 new modular buildings on permanent foundations, ramps, and associated infrastructure. The site improvements generally consist of parking area, approaches, fencing, landscaping, and concrete hardscaping and utility connections: The updating of site flatwork to provide required ADA paths of travel and access to all buildings. Reconstruction of existing ramps as necessary for code compliance. Addition of 12 new parking stalls and sealcoat existing parking lot. The above square footages are current estimates.
