Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Biscoe, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Department of Public Safety invites experienced design firms to submit qualifications to provide planning, design, and construction administration services for the renovation of the decommissioned East Montgomery High School in Montgomery County. The initial funding is approved for planning and design only. The construction funding will be approved later. Project consist of a 113,637 SF renovation to reestablish a school setting with functional MEP systems. A portion of the space will require full renovation for the Samarcand Safer Schools Training Program. These spaces include administrative offices, classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and cafeteria. The remaining spaces require planning to create programable spaces for future flexibility. Building renovations include repair or replacement of EFIS systems, windows, roofing systems, foundation, slabs, boiler systems, chilled water systems, ADA equipment, fire alarm systems, architectural finishes, HAZMAT abatement, and minor layout changes. Site renovations include repair or replacement of pavement, sidewalks (ADA), fences, utility systems, new fencing with gates, removal of temporary trailers and wooden structures. Planning services include a charette to organize customer current and future program goals or requirements into a masterplan of the facility with cost expectations. State Construction Office submittals are required for all design phases (Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents) which include: plans, cost estimate, and technical specifications edited with Masterworks in Masterspec 2006. These services also include closeout as defined by the State Construction Manual with record drawings in both AutoCAD (latest version) and Revit.
