Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of March 17, 2025, project has begun construction as of March 10, 2025. Walnut Street Bridge over Jordan Creek - 19-0017 This project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing Walnut Street Bridge over Jordan Creek. The existing structure will be replaced with an 81 foot two-span structure, a 12 x7.5 box culvert and wing walls consisting of 46,170 lbs of reinforcing steel, 326 cy of class B-1 concrete, 405 sy of reinforced concrete slab deck. Other items in this project include, 431 linear foot of curb and gutter, 819 sy of 2 asphalt surface course, various storm infrastructure, 6,168 sf of sidewalk, approximately 7,654 cy of excavation, 1 ,252 sf of gravity block retaining wall, and other water quality features. A certified or cashier s check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. Note all labor shall be paid Missouri Prevailing Wages and/or Federal Davis-Bacon Wages, whichever is higher. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 0% The owner will award this project to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to wave any irregularities in the best interest of the owner with MoDOT s consent.
