Scope of Services We are seeking bids to remove dead or damaged trees on City property which has limited access or must traverse through private property to each job site or is within the public Right-of-Way where lane closure and directional traffic would be employed. A site visit with all potential bidders at same time, to review scope of work and visually see limitations is a must. Impact on private property is a priority. Each site is a separate bid. Site 1: o Macdonald Avenue grade separation of BART and UPSP between 16th and 21st Streets o Remove all 27 dead or dying Monterey pines (Pinus radiata) from both sides of the street o Remove all logs and branch debris from site o Road closed, with one lane traffic control must be implemented Site 2: o 5265 & 5273 Heavenly Ridge o Remove all 19 Monterey Pines (Pinus radiata) 14 trees are dead o Trees are to be felled in place, all logs and debris is to be cut up to make ground contact o Access is through the homeowner's rear yards or from above off of Powder Bowl Ct. Site 3: o 5713 Amend Road o Property is above 130 & 140 Travalini Ct. o Remove 10 Monterey Pines (Pinus radiata) 3 are dead o Remove all logs and brush is to be chipped and hauled away o Replacement trees are already in place. o Access is off of Amend and the land is level approaching the trees. Contractor is responsible for any damage to City and private property resulting from work on this project. Bid Requirements: Contractor must have a valid City of Richmond Business license. Contractor responsible for meeting City of Richmond contractor's requirements including insurance and prevailing wage guidelines. All work to be coordinated with City of Richmond Parks and Landscaping Superintendent or his designee.
