Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of April 7, 2022, a low bidder has been identified. An official award will be made on April 18, 2022. This project will be a collaborative partnership with BNSF Railroad, MoDOT, and the City of Springfield to make improvements to the railroad signal equipment and the vehicular traffic signal at the intersection of National Avenue and Division Street. City improvements to the intersection include the removal of the truss signal infrastructure and replacement with traditional traffic signal poles and arms, as well as implementation of a battery backup system, improved signal equipment, geometric and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements, and new bike lanes on Division Street This project is in included in the City of Springfield FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of March 19, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
