Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Commissioners' Office, or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Commissioners' Office. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. All inquiries shall be directed to the following individual between regular business hours (8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday). County Representative: Jim Buchan The Board reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid. If, in the opinion of the Board, the acceptance of the lowest bid is not in the best interest of all concerned the Board may accept another proposal so opened or reject all proposals and advertise for other bids. The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
