Site work for a road / highway in Hillsboro, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The proposed work includes mowing and/or removal of existing vegetation and geotextile fabrics; application of herbicide, lime and fertilizer; reseeding hillsides, slopes and ditches; installation of erosion control measures; regrading of ditches; and installation of rock ditch lining along. Project work is within the right of way and/or easements of County-maintained intersections Old State Route 21 at Four Ridge Road and Antire Road at Williams Creek Road. Work shall be in accordance with the Job Special Provisions, Plan Drawings and Contract Documents. Where not specifically covered by these documents, the Contractor shall adhere to the currently effective edition of the, Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, and the currently effective MoDOT Standard Plans for Highway Construction. The Contractor shall have a maximum of Thirty (30) Working Days to complete the project. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the State of Missouri's "Annual Wage Order" that is currently effective 10 calendar days prior to bid opening. All bids shall be made on the forms provided. The Jefferson County, Missouri hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept the bid that in its judgment will be for the best interest of Jefferson County, Missouri. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10- Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to Jefferson County, Missouri, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and furnish the required bonds within the time period stated in the Project Manual. All work on the project shall be substantially completed in 30 working days
