As of May 18th, 2022 this project is pending an award decision. The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the project listed below. This project will include modernization of two existing in-ground type hydraulic elevators: one passenger and one freight. This modernization includes, but is not limited to: o removal and disposal of existing elevator equipment and oil that is not reused o cleaning, inspection, repair, replacement, and adjustment of components o refurbishing and lubrication/painting of existing equipment that is retained reused o work to be carried out per project specifications, all related bid documents, and per applicable codes and standards. A Small Business Enterprise goal of 0% has been established for this project. Bidders must submit a properly completed proposal guarantee in the form of certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond provided, for an amount not less than 10 percent of the total amount bid included in the proposal as a guarantee that the contractor will enter into a contract to perform the proposal in accordance with the plans and specifications. Prior to the execution of a contract, the successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a labor and material bond, each in an amount equal to the full amount of the contract. The City reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible responsive bidder or all bids will be rejected, as soon as practicable after the date of opening bids.
