The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed Proposals for a qualified contractor to remove four (4) solar panels and four (4) light fixtures and install four (4) New LED post top fixtures on the light posts at the intersection of highway 22 and Etheridge road and Bowen Hill road in Haddock Georgia. The County reserves the right to reject and or all bids or proposals, to waive technicalities, and to make a selection and final award as deemed to be in the best interest of the County. It is the intent of this solicitation to secure a qualified contractor to remove four (4) solar panels & four (4) lights and install 4 new LED Post top fixtures at the intersection of Highway 22 and Etheridge Road & Bowen Hill Road in Haddock, Georgia. Installation of Power source must be established from the county's water department facility located behind the convenience store in Haddock Ga 115 Etheridge Road to each pole at the intersection. The scope of services for this contract will be for all labor and materials needed to complete the work specified herein. Contractor shall be a properly licensed contractor under existing Federal, State and Local laws, and qualified to perform the job as contained in this scope of work. Furnish labor and materials to remove four (4) existing solar panels and four (4) lights.
Install 4 new 120 volt LED post top fixtures.
Proposal must include installing power from The County's Water Department facility located behind the convenience store in Haddock at 115 Etheridge Road.
Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary DOT (Department of transportation) Permits necessary to complete this project.
The appearance of the new lights should be identical to what is in place now excluding the solar panels.
