Renovation of a municipal facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
1. Demolition and removal of selected portions of building or structure. 2. Salvage of existing items to be reused or recycled. Scope includes: Selective demolition as noted on the Drawings and as required to complete the Work, including but not limited to the following: 1. Remove portions of building structure as necessary to accommodate alterations work, whether or not indicated on Drawings. a. All demolition work required to provide a complete finished Project may not be indicated on the Demolition Drawing. Refer to all sheets of the Drawings and Specifications Sections to determine total scope of demolition work required. 2. Remove and protect products indicated to be removed, which are either to be installed in new locations or are to be retained by Owner, unless indicated to performed as part of the work of other Contractors. 3. Remove and salvage brick where indicated to be removed. Salvaged brick will be cleaned and installed at new locations. a. Coordinate removal work and cooperate with Masonry Subcontractor that will clean salvaged brick and install in new locations to patch remaining existing masonry. The City of Sioux Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of Sioux Falls, SD.
