Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lanigan, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 51,734-square-foot, two-story above grade, 400-seat educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
On June 23, 2020, as part of the Six Major Capital Stimulus Projects, the Government of Saskatchewan announced funding for the design and construction of a new school in Lanigan, Saskatchewan. The new school will consolidate and replace the following two (2) neighboring and existing schools: Lanigan Elementary School Lanigan Central High School The design process commenced in the first quarter of 2021 and that process is now complete. The next phase of the project has commenced with issuing of the project's tender document to the prequalified contractors. The prequalification process was completed in May 2022 with the selection of five (5) general contractors, five (5) mechanical contractors and five (5) electrical contractors per attached Prequalified Lists. Only general contractor, mechanical contractors and electrical contractors from this list are eligible to submit bids. * The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
