The City of Newberg (the "City") is soliciting bids for the 2022 Safe Routes to School Sidewalk and ADA Curb Ramp Project. The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision for the construction and completion of: Installation of 5-foot-wide sidewalk on S Blaine Street between E Fifth Street and E Sixth Street. Approximately 300-feet. Installation of three ADA curb ramps on the east side of the intersection of S Blaine Street and E Sixth Street. Installation of four ADA curb ramps on the west side of the intersection of S River Street and E Sixth Street. The anticipated cost to construct the Project is between $ 125,000 and $145,000. The project is to be fully complete by Friday, July 15, 2022. The contract awarded under this invitation to bid is subject to the payment of prevailing wages under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Prequalification of bidders is required. Bidders must be prequalified to perform work in the following classes: concrete ADA curb ramps and sidewalks. Each bidder is required to submit a completed Contractor's Prequalification Application Form that can be found at website.
