AREA#1- COURT STREET FROM ENTRANCE TO CITY COMPLEX to LIBRARY (including Taylor St) - approx 20,800 SF Mill and remove 2" of asphalt from existing surface Haul millings to location specified by city Clean and prepare area for paving Place 1/2" hot mix asphalt top, leveling course, rolled in place. Place 1 1/2" hot mix asphalt top, finish course, rolled in place. AREA #2 - EISENHOWER / GARFIELD / DOYLES ALLEY Eisenhower to Doyle's/ Doyle's to Garfield ! Garfield to Ridge - approx 14,500 SF Clean and prepare area for paving. Mill in at all start and stop points and adjacent to any concrete pads. Place 1" hot mix asphalt base, leveling course, rolled in place. Place 1 1/2" hot mix asphalt top, finish course, rolled in place. AREA #3 - 2nd AVE 2nd AVE from beginning of skinnier section to Blackhorse Road - approx 9,500 SF Clean and prepare area for paving Mill in at all start and stop points and adjacent to any concrete pads. Place 1/2" hot mix asphalt top, leveling course, rolled in place. Place 1 1/2" hot mix asphalt top, finish course, rolled in place. AREA #4 - ARTHUR STREET From Route 2 to intersection with North Chestnut St - approx 4,400 SF Clean and prepare area for paving. Mill in at all start and stop points and adjacent to any concrete pads. Expand left turn area at intersection by adding stone and 3" asphalt base. Place 1/2" hot mix asphalt top, leveling course, rolled in piace. Place 1 1/2" hot mix asphalt top, finish course, rolled in place. The City of New Cumberland will be accepting sealed bids to pave sections of Court Street, Taylor Street, Eisenhower Street, Garfield Street, Doyles Alley, Second Ave., and Arthur Street. If any bid documents are missing the bid will be considered non-responsive and will be returned to the Bidder. Any Contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she holds a current West Virginia Contractors License on the date of Bid Opening and meets all the qualifications required by statues of the state and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, and to accept any proposal which it deems most favorable.
