Only building contractors within the meaning of the Act respecting the qualification of building contractors (1975, SQ, chap. 53) who have their principal place of business in the province of Quebec or , when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable in Quebec, in a province or territory covered by this agreement. Plans, specifications, contractual documents and other information will be available on the Electronic Tender System website as of March 18, 2022. Tenders will be accompanied by a tender bond or a certified check equivalent to 10% of the amount of the tender made payable to the Municipality of the Township of Westbury, or a tender bond, made out to the same amount , valid for a period of 60 days from the date of opening of tenders. This bid guarantee must be exchanged, at the signing of the contract, for a performance guarantee and a guarantee of obligations for pledges, materials and services. Each of its guarantees must correspond to 50% of the contract price.
