Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Granville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work under this contract consists of the replacement of approximately 900 lineal feet of 8" water line with new valves, hydrants and services; new curbs, driveway aprons, sections of sidewalk replacement , 1-1/2" roadway planning and asphalt overlay. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms included in the Contract Documents. If the Bidder selects "Bid Guarantee" Option "A", the Bidder may use this Bond as the Performance Bond. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each Bidder must submit evidence of his experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Each Proposal must be sealed and marked: "Pratt Street Improvements" The Portage County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids or portions thereof. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty days (30) after the actual date of the opening thereof. Contractor shall be aware that this project is funded with a grant using federal funds and all HUD requirements must be met. Bids will be evaluated at a minimum on experience on similar projects, cost and ability to complete the project within 180 days after the contract is put in place and Notice to Proceed is issued. Contractor shall provide proof of Workers' Compensation and, Liability Insurance with the bid. Successful bidder must comply with Equal Employment requirements as specified in Executive Order 11246 and 11375. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
