Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract or furnish a satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the deposit shall be forfeited to the City. All bidders shall call 509-331-2711 prior to bid opening to sign up as a bidder on the project, whether or not they request a hard copy or obtain a digital copy of the Specifications. Bids received from bidders who are not signed in as a bidder on the project will be rejected for being non-responsive. Contact person: Shawn O'Brien, PE PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project consists of installing a total of four utility crossings through railroad right-of-way in two locations. The water, sewer, and storm water lines range from 12 to 24 inches with steel casings ranging from 18 to 30 inches. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids if such action is in the best interest of the City. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
