Engineer's or Architect's Estimate of Cost: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 The work covered by the plans and specifications includes: Application of centerlines, edge lines, and related work on SR2 and the various interchanges. All work under this contract shall be completed by September 2, 2022. Pursuant to R.C. 153.01 et. seq., the bid must be accompanied by an original sealed document (uploaded for online bidders) in the form of a bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid OR by a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, drawn on a solvent bank located in Lake County and payable to the Treasurer of Lake County, Ohio, as surety that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The Board of Lake County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or to award to the lowest and/or best bidder. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. SCOPE A. The Construction and Material Specifications dated 2019 published by the Ohio Department of Transportation shall govern this project. B. Work shall consist of application of O.D.O.T. ITEM # 642, Traffic Paint, Type 1 (fast dry, water-based 100 percent acrylic) pavement markings (6" Edge Line, Lane Lines, 6" Dotted Line, and Auxiliary Pavement Markings). Project Limits will be on SR 2 (EB/WB) from Cuyahoga County Line to Grand River Bridge. Also, included in this contract are the various pavement markings in the ramp area as indicated in the Appendix. C. A pre-construction conference shall be scheduled at least seven (7) days prior to the performance of this contract. A schedule shall be provided to the County for review and approval. D. All work shall be under the direction of the Lake County Engineer and/or his representative
