The City of Lake Worth Beach is soliciting bids from responsible and experienced contractors for the improvement of the Harold Grimes Memorial Park Pavilion located at 520 Sunrise Court, Lake Worth Beach FL 33460 Question Deadline: Tue Apr 5, 2022 4:00 PM (EDT) Copies of this IFB may also be acquired by contacting purchasing1@lakeworthbeachfl.qov. All questions must be in writing submitted on lakeworthbeachfl.bidsandtenders.net or purchasing1@lakeworthbeachfl.gov before April 5, 2022 at 4 p.m. Bidsust be accompanied by a copy of Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check made payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond. The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidder's total price indicated in Bid Form. Bidder must be able to deliver original Bid Bond immediatelufter the bid opening if requested by the City The successful Bidder, who is awarded the Contract, shall be required to furnish a 100% Construction Performance Bond and a 100% Construction Payment Bond which meet the requirements of section 255.05, Florida Statutes. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive all nonmaterial irregularities, to re-advertise, and to cancel any invitation to bid when it is in the best interests of the City. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Owner or Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids. Also, Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make and award to the Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful fmancial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by Owner. Discrepancies in the multiplication of units of Work and unit prices will be resolved in favor of the unit prices. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum.
