I. PURPOSE: The Danville Health Department is soliciting bids from qualified firms to establish an annual contract with a contractor who has at least four (4) years of continuous demonstrated experience in cleaning facility of similar size and type, and to provide all labor and supervision for janitorial services, five days a week (Monday-Friday) for the Danville Health Department located at 326 Taylor Drive, Danville, VA 24541. II. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS INVITATION TO BID: Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Tina Hansen at tina.hansen@vdh.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on March 28, 2022. III. SPECIFICATIONS / CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS: 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall maintain the cleaning schedule and performance standards defined in the contract throughout the contract term. See Attachment A regarding cleaning schedule. A. Provide Janitorial/Custodial Services, Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm with one (1) day flexed to either come in early or stay late to damp mop floors. B. Floor maintenance to include dust mopping, damp mopping and buffing. C. Window/partition cleaning D. Assist with moving items less than 50 lbs
