Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Mayfield, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Bid security shall be submitted with each bid greater than $100,000.00, in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. Unless otherwise provided, when the Contract Sum exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) the Contractor shall furnish bonds covering faithful performance of the Contract and payment of obligations arising thereunder. A surety company authorized to do business in Kentucky shall execute bonds, and the cost thereof shall be included in the Contract Sum. Unless otherwise provided, the amount of each bond shall be equal to 100% of the Contract Sum plus Purchase Orders, or 100% of the Lump Sum Base Bid plus or minus accepted Alternates, whichever is greater. All work of this phase shall postpone commencement until or after May 31, 2022.
