Renovation of a library in Clear Spring, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
This quotation shall be to decommission and remove the existing RTU-1 unit, remove existing exposed ductwork, and to furnish and install a new 20 ton heat pump unit with associated power, controls, and start-up and commissioning. The project is located at the Clear Spring Library located at 12624 Broad fording Road, Clear Spring, MD 21722. The Contractor shall submit all applicable material specifications and shop drawings to the Director for review and approval prior to the start of work. A. Decommission and remove the existing unit RTU-1. B. Disconnect and make safe electrical feeder to the existing RTU-1. C. Disconnect and make safe temperature controls for the existing RTU-1 D. Removal of existing exposed ductwork to accommodate new RTU-1. E. Provide new power feeder to service the new RTU-1 F. Furnish and Install a new 20 ton heat pump unit. G. Provide new power feeder to service the new unit. H. Provide new controls to service the new unit. I. Provide factory start-up and commissioning. J. Additional miscellaneous work as required or shown on the plans to accommodate the installation. K. Contractor shall coordinate with the County and Library on the schedule and installation to minimize the period of time the building is out of service and not cooled and conditioned.
