It is anticipated that the City of Prineville Council will approve the intent to award the contract at the Council meeting on the 12th day ofApril, 2022. The start date for this project shall be no sooner than the 20th day ofApril, 2022, with a completion date of no later than the 30th day of June, 2022 The work contemplated generally consists offurnishing all labor, equipment, supplies and materials to complete the infrastructure repair. The selected contractor will be required to enter into a construction contract with the City ofPrineville. The City of Prineville is seeking bids for a series of sewer line repairs on Empire Drive in Prineville. On the corner of Spencer Ct and Empire Drive we have an outside drop manhole that has separated from the main line and needs to be replaced. The manhole is number 182 and is approximately 17.5 feet deep. It appears that the original construction was not properly compacted and resulting settlement has detached the drop from the mainline. The fix will require that the manhole be excavated and the drop be replaced per City of Prineville Specs. Sewer services at tax lot 1201, and at tax lot 700, have separated from the main trunk line. These 2 services are in close proximity to manhole 184 and are approximately 13.5 feet deep. It appears that the original construction was not properly compacted and resulting settlement has detached the services from the mainline. The fix will require that the services be excavated, exposed and repaired per City of Prineville Specs. Camera inspection shows that the services are 8X4 factory tees. There are currently no sewer services to tax lot 1702, or tax lot 1701. The City would like to install 4" services to each lot per the City of Prineville Specs. The main line is approximately 6.5 feet deep at the lot line. All prices shall include temporary protection and direction of traffic, project safety, dewatering, saw cutting, excavation, disposal of materials, class b backfill and trench patch per City of Prineville Specs. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $65,000.00
