As of 5/18/2022 project already awarded for $1,551,384.97. Ward 3 Residential Street Improvements, consisting of: Reconstruction of the following Ward 3 Residential Streets: W. Main Street beginning at S. Markwell Avenue extending east approximately 1,070 Linear Feet to S. Norman Avenue. S. Classen Avenue from S.W. 4th Street extending north approximately 635 linear feet S.W. 27th Street from the 1-35 Frontage Road extending east approximately 1,480 linear feet through the cul-de-sac. Reconstruction includes grading, drainage. surfacing. signing & striping and traffic control. Each Bidder shall accompany his original bid, filed with the Purchasing Agent . with a certified or Cashier's Check on a solvent bank located in Oklahoma or a Bidder's Bond, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount bid, as a guarantee of his ability to perform the contract bid upon, and that he will enter into a written contract with the Owner to perform said work and/or furnish said materials in accordance with said plans and specifications and furnish the required bonds within seven (7) days aner the acceptance of his bid. Each bidder shall accompany his bid with a swom statement in writing that the Bidder has not directly or indirectly entered into an agreement, expressed or implied, with any other bidder concerning the price or amount of such bid or any bids, the limiting of the bids or bidders, the paying to anyone any money for promotion expenses, the parceling or farming out to any bidder or bidders or other persons of any part of the contract or any part of the subject matter of the bid or of the profits thereof. Construction, Maintenance and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner and Engineer, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract, and the bidder shall state in the proposal the name and address of the Surety or Sureties who will sign this bond in case the contract is awarded to him. The Contractor hereby agrees to commence work under this Contract on a date to be specified in a written Work Order of the CITY and to fully complete the project within 195 consecutive calendar days. The Contractor further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars and 00/100 ($500.00) for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as provided in the General Conditions section of the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. The Maintenance Bond required will guarantee the repair of all damage due to supply of faulty equipment, improper materials, or sub-standard workmanship for a period of two (2) year after the FINAL acceptance of the work by the Owner. Considered by Moore City Council at the City Council meeting to be held on May 2, 2022 in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Moore, Oklahoma. The Owner will retain the deposit, and use it for liquidated damages in case the successful bidder fails to enter in said contract and fur- nish the required bonds provided for in the specifications within the time required. Deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon the execution of the Contract and required bonds. All bids shall remain on file at least forty-eight (48) hours thereafter before a contract will be made and entered into thereon. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours prior to the Bid Opening will be returned. Contract is to be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible qualified bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding. The Owner reserves the right to reject any & all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act.
