IPAZ BUILD Grant Roadway Improvement Projects (Hanna Road, Houser Road, SR-87) Questions Due Date: Apr 8th 2022, 5:00 PM MST Pinal County is requesting bids for the following proposed roadway improvements: 1) Hanna Road, from SR-87 to Vail Road alignment; 2) SR-87 at the Hanna Road intersection; 3) Houser Road, from SR-87 to Vail Road alignment; and 4) SR-87 at the Houser Road intersection. The project is located within unincorporated portions of Pinal County, City of Eloy, City of Coolidge and Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) facilities. Hanna Road: In general, the work consists of new 2-lane roadway improvements including removals, grading, asphalt concrete (AC) paving, aggregate base course (ABC), geogrid, dumped rip rap, storm drain pipes, traffic signing, pavement markings and Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) gate arms at the existing railroad crossing. Houser Road: In general, the work consists of reconstruction and widening of existing roadway improvements including removals, grading, asphalt concrete (AC) paving, aggregate base course (ABC), geogrid, dumped rip rap, storm drain pipes, traffic signing and pavement markings. SR-87 (ADOT): In general, the work consists of reconstruction and widening of existing roadway improvements including removals, grading, asphalt concrete (AC) paving, aggregate base course (ABC), lime treated subgrade, dumped rip rap, storm drain pipes, concrete headwalls, pre-cast box culvert, traffic signing, pavement markings, two traffic signals (Hanna Road and Houser Road), advance warning flashers and utility removals.
