Site work for a water / sewer project in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work consists of civil engineering design of stormwater and flood control systems improvements along Butcherknife Creek from Oak Street upstream to Short Street in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The first phase will consist of narrowing down a targeted area for floodplain improvements based off the design budget. The second phase consists of performing a hydrologic and hydraulic assessment of the narrowed project area to determine feasible alternatives for mitigation of flood flows to potentially include improved channel and culvert capacities. The third phase of design consists of development of design drawings to implement the floodplain improvements and ascertain how it affects the channel widths, culvert sizing, street widths, existing utilities and easement needs. The fourth phase of design would be development of final design for the improvements.
