THE PUBLIC BODY (Centre de services scolaire Marie-Victorin) wishes to establish a performance-on-demand contract with a CONTRACTOR with respect to the maintenance of the boilers of approximately sixty-four (64) buildings in its building stock, spread over the territory the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION which covers the cities of Longueuil, Brossard and Saint-Lambert, including the boroughs of Vieux-Longueuil, Saint-Hubert and Greenfield Park. The CONTRACTOR shall carry out the Boiler Maintenance Work in accordance with the Estimate, according to the unit prices indicated in the Price Schedule. The PUBLIC BODY does not undertake to accept any Submissions received.
The BIDDER must accompany its Bid with a bid security in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00). This bid security must be produced in one of the following forms: a bond or an irrevocable letter of guarantee, issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in the Régie. The BIDDER must also attach to its Bid a letter of commitment signed by a surety guaranteeing the issuance of a performance bond and a guarantee of the obligations of the CONTRACTOR for wages, materials and services, which must be, each, in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00), in the form of security. EASTER HOLIDAY : Please note that any question that may be sent during the Easter holiday (Friday April 15 and Monday April 18, 2022) will be answered on the first working day following the holiday. CONTRACT LENGTH : The Contract is for a period of approximately three (3) years, from the date of issuance of the notice of award, until April 30, 2025.
