Answers to the questions will be posted by 2:00 PM (CDT) on April 7, 2022 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that firms responding to this RFCSP (Respondents) are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or COSA officials regarding this RFCSP up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Respondents. Electronic proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price. (Or, if providing SAWS with a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price, SAWS will request this within 24 hours from the Respondent who did not submit a bid bond). The electric motor for each well will be removed and stored offsite by SAWS prior to the Contractor moving to the well site. Power to the motor will be shut off. - The pump and pump column will be removed from the well by others. - ASR wells 21 and 19 will be designated as a water source for the Contractor. See map on page 3 of 15. o Distance between ASR-3 and ASR-21 is approximately 1,850 ft. o Distance between ASR-7 and ASR-19 is approximately 1,375 ft. -Three volume gun sprinkler canons will be available from SAWS for the purpose of distribution of the well development and pump test water. The Contractor shall supply all hoses and fittings. -The map on page 3 of 15 shows the gates to be used to access the property. The Contractor will be given a code or be required to put their lock on the gate during the performance of the repair work. Cattle are located on the SAWS property and gates must remain closed at all times. The WORK consists of providing the labor, materials, equipment, supervision and perform all work necessary to eliminate the production of formation sand from two ASR production wells located at SAWS H2Oaks facility. SAWS desires to correct this problem by installation of a centralized nominal 12-inch diameter stainless steel screen/blank liner within the existing cased well and emplace gravel pack between the original casing face and the new liner. Work will include removal/reinstallation of any piping around the existing wellhead that would interfere with the repair operation, removal of any debris in the bottom of the existing well prior to installation of the new liner, installation of the stainless steel screen and blank, installation of a continuous gravel pack, development of the well, pump testing, management of development and pump test water, removal of any debris from the bottom of the new liner at the conclusion of activities, and completion of a color video in Southern Bexar County, approximately 25 miles south of the City of San Antonio, Texas, including all appurtenant work, complete and operable, all in accordance with requirements of the Contract Documents.
