Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders, and delivered as follows: 1.Bid Date: 08 April 2022 2.Bid Time: 11:00 a.m. local time. 3.Location: Township High School District 214 Offices, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005. B.Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. C.Bidders will be permitted to attend the bid opening in person. Anyone choosing to attend in person will be required to comply with the School District's policies regarding PPE and social distancing. D.Any bid submitted unsealed, or unsigned, without bid bond or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and hour will be disqualified and returned to the bidder. E.Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. 1.3BID SECURITY A.It is the Owner's intent to issue a Notice of Award to the successful Bidder within thirty (30) calendar days of the Bid Date. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of bids. 1.4MANDATORY SITE VISIT A.Site Visits: A site visit is mandatory for all bidders. 1. Location: Township High School District 214, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005 2. Scheduling: Visits to the site shall be arranged by contacting Architect's Representative via email. 3. Documentation of visit: Contractor to sign-in at the main reception desk at the District Offices upon arrival. Contractor shall request and fill out the contractor sign-in form. 1.7BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A.Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. B.The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum, on AIA Document A312, as issued by the American Institute of Architects.
