The awarded contractor agrees to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, and unscheduled repair services on the DMV Liebert, Eaton, and APC Smart Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) and Power Distribution Systems (all models), test and record voltage and ampacity for all UPS batteries, replace specific batteries as identified in this Agreement, maintain the Schneider Electric Solar Inverter A and Solar Inverter B systems, and to provide monthly testing on all automatic transfer and tie breaker power distribution equipment for the term of the Agreement. The anticipated term for this Agreement is November 1, 2022 or upon contract approval, whichever occurs later, through October 31, 2024. The bidder must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience servicing Liebert Series 600 and Eaton Powerware 9355 Model 30 UPS systems. Field service Engineer located within the four (4) hour response service area must also demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years experience servicing Liebert Series 600 and Eaton Powerware 9355 Model 30 UPS equipment. Written questions are due 4/12/2022 at 4:30 p.m. Answers will be posted 4/19/2022 by 4:30 p.m. The current contractor is Fakouri Electrical Engineering, Inc. The cost for the current contract is $88,825 for a 2-year term. Per Public Contract Code Section 7103, the awarded contractor shall provide a payment bond equal to one-hundred-percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract if the awarded contractor's total bid amount exceeds $25,000.00. The payment bond must be printed on Standard Form 807 (STD 807), and must include the contract number and the description of work to be performed under the contract. The payment bond must be executed by the Contractor and a corporate surety authorized to transact a general surety business in the State of California.
